WTF of the Week:
I had seen this on a Meta shop blog a couple weeks ago and starred it in my Google Reader for this occasion. In the meantime though, it was posted to the EGL LJ community, and I was surprised at how varied the reactions were! To me, the pleather bodice just looks terribly cheap, it doesn’t sit nicely at all. I’m not a big fan of the choker either, it makes it look like Freya from Chobits to me. But, a lot of people really liked it! What do you guys think?

I can see a leather-bodiced dress done well, but not really as a Loli dress. This dress kinda looks like a dominatrix-meets-Lolita Halloween costume. =S
Agreed. It looks too costumey for standard lolita.

I can definitely see that, the buckles might not have been the best choice.
Bondage Lolita? I think Metamorphose has really gone over the edge this time. Seriously, that’s just tacky. If it wasn’t made of pleather and funky-looking lace, it might be a passable Ero-loli outfit, but as it is right now… it sort of looks like Meta has designed a fetish costume.
Haha yeah, it does look pretty fetish-y. I think better materials would have definitely helped.

I would love that for COSPLAY.
But not to wear day to day as actual fashion.

it looks like a bondage costume D: and so cheap.. and not lolita at all! i can imagine Bellatrix lestrange wearing it.. :P
its defiantly not my style so i defiantly would say hate it…
