WTF of the Week:
Hahaha oh cat ears. They’ve become kind of the running joke of the lolita world, an automatic go-to for all things badly attempted. This is probably because we’ve seen a lot of early outfits with cat ears and lace monsters and look back on it and have a good chuckle. Cat ears are still on my automatic no-no list, especially for new girls, but they can occasionally work with a specially themed outfit, or if they’re attached to a hood. My concern with these Baby ears is not necessarily that they are cat ears (although that doen’t really help) but the placement. They’re almost on the sides of the head! Weird.
Of course, they’re sold out on the website, so some people definitely disagree with me!
They kinda remind me of Chii ears that you see a lot of lazy/casual cosplayers wear.
I think these are really cute, but I don’t think I would be able to wear to coordinate them right. Tis a toughie.
They do look like that! Especially the placement. I can totally understand that predicament!

You’re definitely not alone, they’re all sold out! I’ve never seen anyone wear them though…

However, I can’t see myself wearing them with a Lolita outfit. Maybe just Halloween or with non-Lolita outfit.
Yeah, they just don’t mesh with lolita very well. I feel the same way about those maid-type headbands.
I’m quite sure that when you put them on they’d end up a lot higher up than that, because the headband would be stretched out… ;)
That’s true! That wouldn’t leave a whole lot of headband past them though.
The look normal when you wear them! The headband stretches out! They are still stupid though XD I can understand why their sold out though, with halloween being around the corner and everything. I think every halloween at least one brand MUST release something awful with cat ears XD
Haha they just look so weird as-is! That’s true, quite a few brands have released cat ear stuff in the past, and every time I see them I’m like “What is this doing here?”
I love to see outfits with cat ears that are coordinated well. But the are strange by them self.
Yeah, I would be impressed to see these look good.
